Our family definitely enjoyed the Vatican tour -- the details and context that our guide provided, with enthusiasm and energy, helped us make the most of our visit and to digest the significance of the art and architecture, which at times can be overwhelming. It can be a struggle with the masses of other visitors, but the headsets ensured that we could hear the information. Would certainly recommend.

We took this tour on our very first day in Roma and it was the best thing we could do. Very nice quide, many interesting information. We learn a lot from his information and all the rest of our stay was influenced by this experience. We definitely recommend it!

We (family of 4 with 2 teenagers) would recommend this tour to do if you want to get most out of the Vatican museum and Sistine chapel. The tour guide was very helpful informative and had many great stories upon his sleeve. Certainty worth the money paid and compliments to this company who did organize perfectly well. Thank you

We had an great tour on our first day in the Vatican museums! We booked this tour way ahead straight forward using their site. Got the confirmation immediately with a very clear description about where and when to meet. Ones we came on the meeting point someone was waiting for us to take us to the tour guide. The group was about 20 persons what was not a problem because we got headsets from the guide. Great think was we had another advantage because we did skip a huge waiting line outside. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history and art in the Vatican museums and explained very well the story about the Sistine chapel. We had very much the feeling if we would have gone without a guide you simply don't know where to look there is to much to see. The tour took about 3 hours which is i think the perfect time. If we would have gone. Well worth doing it!

We did book 2 tours 1 for free (based on tips)the city tour which started from a metro stop close to the Trevi fountain which was a disappointment because it is closed for renovation no water running. nevertheless the guide show us lots of important sites and told a lot of history. The second tour we did book was the Vatican tour. Also this tour were pleasant, we did learn and see a lot. The museums are to big to go in there alone so we were happy the guide pointed out the highlights. On the end of the tour we were in the Sistine chapel to admire to amazing paintings done about 500 years back. Thank to our guides (Nico and Aldo) we know lots more about Rome and the Vatican. Definitely recommend!!

We were a group of 4 who wanted to see the most important sites in Vatican City the Sistine chapel and the Saint Peters church. We ask some questions before and they responded promptly to our email. We did make the reservation and got the confirmation and the meeting point clearly described. On the day we had the tour they were waiting for us on the meeting point perfectly in time to bring us to the office and there we met the guide. There were in total 12 people in our group we did use the priority entrance which saved us a lot of waiting time. The guide was very knowledgeable and his English was very good. Ones we entered we got headphones so we were able to follow everything said. We did learn a lot and had good fun all in one we would highly recommend to take the tour offered by FreeTourRome. It was a fun afternoon, Thank you!

We took 2 walking tours in Rome while we were there in early June. Niko was our guide for both. We had 4 people on the 12 noon My best friend and I did the Vatican tour with Freetourrome. Couldn't be more happy it was one of the best tours during our trip in Italy. We did pay and book ahead before arriving in Rome because we wanted to make sure we would not be standing in huge waiting lines. Turned out not to be one on the time we went in the museums. The group was not to big about 20 persons. The guide - Niko - had very good English was informative, funny and helpful we had a great time. We would highly recommend as well great value for the money paid. Thank you Niko you made my day.
